Our mission
The staff at the Alpen Haus hopes to make your ski vacation as pleasant as possible. The Alpen Haus has consistently offered the best rates on skis and snowboards in Pagosa Springs. It is an ongoing commitment to our customers and we intend to keep it that way! Also available; snowboards, cross-country skis, snowblades and snowshoes. Our retail shop is chock full of great clothing, accessories, and souvenir t-shirts. We are conveniently located next to Sears in the Plaza at Aspen Village, just up the road from the Wyndham check in office!

Skis--The Alpen Haus offers shaped skis throughout our rental fleet! You'll find our rental prices can not be beaten. Alpen Haus offers Rossignol, Elan, K2, Atomic, Head, and Salomon shaped skis. We also have a great selection of powder and all mountain skis for the "BIG" Powder days. We have Sport and Demo packages as well; you can create the package that suits your style!! For 2012 we have added rockered skis to our Sport plus pkg. New technology at a great price!! We also have the Salomon X-Wing 500s in our Sport Performance package,and the popular Salomon X-Wing 800 in our performance line. Rockered skis are very popular this year and we have added a lot,including Skiing magazines "Testers Choice", the K2 A.M.P Rictor . Perfect skis for Wolf Creek skiing!!

Snowboards-- Brand new in 2012 a complete line of Rossignol Boards and Bindings!! The Alpen Haus also offers boards from Salomon, and Elan. And at $24.00 we beat everyone’s price!! Of course Wolf Creek is known for lots of snow, and there is no better place to learn this rapidly growing sport!

Snowblades--It's kind of like rollerblades for the snow. Easy to maneuver, and lots of fun to trick on. Everyone who tries them loves them!

Cross Country-- From track skis to backcountry, we’ve got them. Our staff includes PSIA certified instructors with 30 years experience,and would be happy to teach you about one of our personal favorite sports.

Sleds-- got them too! If you've had enough of the slopes for a while, this is the old standby way to enjoy a snowy afternoon in Colorado.
